Chefchaouen, Morocco: Minor Scams + Annoyances

In this episode, I get some street food in Chefchaouen, where I meet a person on the street, practice my French with him, and he ends up offering to take me to check out some nearby marijuana farms the next day. One of my social experiments while traveling through Africa is to talk to everyone, which means dealing with many touts. Oddly, it rarely gets annoying and never dangerous.

However, this time I get too many red flags from this one guy including witnessing him get into a violent argument on the street, seeing through a couple of lies, and in one instance, having an uninvited guest come along. I also offer some tips on avoiding a mini-scam, mostly related to parking fees if you’re driving in Morocco.
